Decorative Posters

While I was working in a college computer lab, I was tasked with making decorative posters to fill wall space, and to bring color to an otherwise bland room. Since the goal was aesthetic, my main focus with the posters was to bring large blocks of color to the wall, and to introduce graphics that were very simple and easy to digest.

The content of the posters is fairly straightforward. A smartphone showcases ingenuity, a laptop exhibits portability (As well as the Java symbol – Java being a notably “portable” language), and a desktop is useful for more complex tasks. Since an informal survey of the audience (Students, in this case) revealed more Android users than Iphone users, an Android icon was favored for the smartphone graphic.

The posters were made entirely in Photoshop.
